VIVUS Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 1997 in order to promote the post-communist Renaissance era of Romanian traditional principles as well as the discovery, promotion, stimulation and support of Romanian art, science and culture, with a special emphasis on the creation of new cultural and scientific values through selection, training and research. Past activities focused on promoting live concerts with electronic music and theater plays in non-conventional spaces, concerts with religious music from around the world by the all-male VIVUS Chorale, as well as the production and dissemination of electronic music CDs via Genial Studio Ltd.

In its new incarnation, starting in 2022, VIVUS Foundation’s mission consists in returning to and promoting the traditional autochthone principles as well as the Romanian cultural and scientific world-wide contributions simultaneously with initiating new directions of development in culture, art, creation, sports, education, science, technology and research with the purpose of recognizing, spreading and integrating them in the broader context of a global society.

It is, therefore, VIVUS Foundation’s mission to initiate, sustain and communicate the results of a high-quality dialogue and collaboration between significant representatives from all domains of knowledge in terms of art, culture, science and technology, within the context of a new global society emerging in the wake of a new technological revolution.
